Teen Parents & Adult Services (Services at no cost to the families)
Changing lives and strengthening communities: That’s what the Teen Parent and Adult Services Division at Academy Community Services is all about. Through vocational assessment, employment training, and job placement. The Academy works to remove the barriers that prevent Teen parents and Adults living with specific needs from achieving fulfillment through employment. We conduct a range of employment training with adults so that they can gain employment opportunities or develop marketable job skills to secure work in child care or other areas of competitive or supported employment.
Helping individuals become empowered and self-sufficient is what drives the ongoing work of our Program. Through our work, we not only provide employment opportunities, but also foster pathways of opportunity for people limiting conditions to live more vibrant, rewarding lives.
